"GLOBAL MEGA LOTTERY" is a label used by a gang in South Africa for a ficticious lottery. This is a 419 scam. The phone numbers are mobile phones (examples), the email addresses are free webmail accounts (how to report). All names and postal addresses are fake. The object of the scam is to get the victim to wire money to the criminals in South Africa. The money is only demanded after several emails have been exchanged, when the criminals think they have gained the trust of the victim.
This scam is related to "OMEGA CROSSING SA" and "FLASH FORTUNE LOTTERY / SOLID ROCK FINANCE & SECURITY LTD", two other South African fake lottery scams. Most such scams in South Africa are run by Nigerians.
